QUINCY, Ill. (KHQA) — The second of two men connected to a shooting that left a vehicle, which had several people inside of it, riddled with bullet holes on Aug. 14, 2021, in Quincy was sentenced on Monday after he pleaded guilty. Xavier Clark, 21, of Quincy, pleaded guilty to attempted aggravated discharge of a firearm and was sentenced to 5 1/2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. The victims reported to Quincy police that while driving in the area of 5th and Locust streets, their vehicle, which was occupied by several people, was fired upon by men in another vehicle.
